2009 Baccalaureate
For several years now the Newbern Ministerial Association has worked in cooperation with graduating classes of Dyer County High School to provide an annual Baccalaureate service. The Baccalaureate Committee would like to invite the friends and families of DCHS graduating seniors to attend the 2009 Baccalaureate service. Th host church will be First Assembly of God, located at 900 Williams Street in Newbern. This is behind DCHS and next-door to Northview Middle School, between the school's campus and Highway 51. If you would like to see an interactive map, please click on the "Finding Our Church" tab, then select "First AG Map.pdf".
Baccalaureate will begin promptly at 8:00 P.M. on Tusday, June 2, with the service lasting about one hour. In addition to brief remarks by class officers, there will be special singing provided by DCHS. The ministerial address will be brought by Rev. McCullough of First Baptist Church in Newbern.
